I am hosting a dinner party this Sunday. One of the guests is diabetic. Any pudding ideas? - diabetic christmas pudding

I love chocolate, and generally will be something along these lines, but thought I could be something that can be appreciated, trying to eat and maybe even better for me after all the excesses of Christmas! lol

  1. I understand that you feel understood him, then maybe you buy your own dessert may not be what you are looking for. But since it is unlikely that atleast some of the guests an aversion to the taste of sugar substitutes have, I'm back on the selection of desserts, all diabetic-friendly. I personally get sick if like aspartame or Splenda and do not understand, that helped me score one on the house.

In other words, why not a New York cheesecake friction? They do not apply to all call for sugar. And replace it if necessary, the sugar fructose subsititute as a synthetic. Happy eating! :)

  2. Go easy on sugar - how about a fruit salad? You can get ice cream for diabetics (my father is diabetic). Or take a quick online look is required - to bring lots of revenue. Good luck.

  3. I cook for 2 which diabetics. I am not. I found that sugar, gelatin desserts very good free. Pistachio flavors like cherry cordial. Who knows why. I also found Cool Whip Lite. This material is very good. Unflavored at all. I give them a spoon, and you can whatever they want. I use it as a fresh food is very good. I also like. I also tried the whip Lite generics. If good taste. He was side by side on Christmas Day. No difference. And the gel is terribly effective. I know others have about the fruit, said, however, raises the amount of sugar in the blood here. I think it depends on where the sugar is under control.
Cozy Shack also makes the front of tapioca and rice cakes that sugar be freed. They are in the refrigerated section. Rice is a big fav here. Maybe you could get mini-Graham crust, and fill with pudding and top with cool whip. What is measured, it seems, and that sugar is more or less free.

  6. I'm not the pudding, but my mother died, it is easy to make a simple diabetic pudding. Sorry, but the chocolate game, but simple and healthy! Try it and then serve your guests. You'll love it!

    You will need:

Bag frozen mixed berries (blackcurrant, black, or you can, especially strawberries, raspberries can - in fact) find all the berries with good quality.
    Cinnamon
Cold water to cover the fruit.
Small bottle of red wine (optional) - one of 1 or 2 types of glass
    Lemon juice
    As Canderel sweetener or other.
To thicken a little cold water and cornstarch.

Put fruit, wine, cinnamon sticks, water and lemon juice into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer, then remove from heat and let cool slightly. Or spend everything on a Seive the very intensive work, or pipes in a blender or food processor, if you want a smooth soup.

Return to the saucepan, and add flavor and sweetener, if necessary. Cool. Shortly before you want toEV add the thickener with stirring, until the desired thickness. Serve hot or cold with a dollop of whipped cream or) cream (or alternates and swirled.

It's a real comfort food and not too hard to stomach after a meal.

You can buy chocolate for diabetics, but you can not cook, and we must be aware that it has a laxative effect and non-volatile. This is not really what you want after a meal.

It is true that a diabetic must be completely free of sugar, but he or she a decision and adjust their insulin injections to wait accordingly. Ask them what are their needs.

God bless you for your concern about the results of their diabetes. This recipe can be eaten by anyone.

In fact, all the recipes that require sugar sweeteners can be done. I still do not like the line of taste.

  7. Fresh fruit salad is a winner of diabetics. You can add some spices in the alcohol pop just a bit special and easy to do. Things May or non-diabetic ice cream and chocolate sauce or a selection of sauces a little taste of jazz
